I had never seen Malcolm Todd perform live before, but after collecting and enjoying around 10 of his records (he has released over 23 albums in his career), I finally had the chance to attend one of his shows. The sound man at the Au-Rene theatre did an exceptional job, providing the best sound quality out of all the concerts I've been to there. Malcolm immediately had the audience up on their feet and dancing by the third song, maintaining the energetic atmosphere throughout the entire performance. What earned him a 5-star rating from me? Well, as he launched into the third song, I was already envisioning myself eagerly willing to pay for another opportunity to see him on tour; this places him in the same league as Fleetwood Mac, Roger Waters - the Wall, and the Rolling Stones!! His setlist was a blend of his biggest hits and some lesser-known tracks, and it was incredible to witness the audience singing along to a multitude of his songs.....If you're a fan of rock 'n' roll - MAKE SURE TO SECURE A TICKET when he is in your area.
